One of the best spot to find some relax
From Bike Center climb up along the cycle path towards Mezzana, continue through Pellizzano until you reach the Eurorafting rafting center in Ossana.
The path to Ossana then connects to the village road you will find a bridge to the right and to the left you can see the beautiful Medieval Castle of San Michele, climb for 100 meters towards the castle and then turn right along a mule track that goes up to the town of Vermiglio. At the hydroelectric plant, when you come out near the river, go along the river until you find a road that goes up on the left, go up for about 200 meters then keep to the right.
The road continues to climb up to Vermiglio and you will arrive right at the ponds, here at the cross-country center you can have lunch or take a break. Very nice area, then if you want to continue you can continue along the dirt road towards Volpaia up to the Agritur Celesta. This is the old military road that leads to the Tonale another beautiful tour that we recommend.
